Client Commitment
As the client, I commit to taking positive action to make improvements in my life and to working towards the goals I identify as necessary to achieve this. I agree to be open and honest throughout the coaching process and to actively engage with my coach in order to maximise the effectiveness of our work together.
Timetabling of Sessions
If I need to reschedule an appointment, I will provide at least 48 hours’ notice. I understand that if I fail to give 48 hours’ notice, my coach reserves the right to charge for that session.
Ground Rules
- I understand that I am fully responsible for all decisions and choices made during and as a result of the coaching sessions.
- I acknowledge that coaching is a collaborative relationship designed to support the development of my personal and/or professional goals and to create strategies and actions to achieve them.
- I understand that coaching may address various areas of my life, including (but not limited to) work, family, health, relationships, education, and recreation. I accept full responsibility for how I choose to address any issues that arise.
- I understand that coaching is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, mental health care, or substance abuse treatment.
- I agree to inform my coach if I am currently receiving therapy or medical treatment and confirm that any relevant professionals involved in my care are aware of my intention to work with a coach.
- I commit to engaging fully in the agreed programme of coaching sessions to support meaningful change. If I am not satisfied with my progress and wish to cancel remaining sessions, I may do so by giving at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the next scheduled session.
Confidentiality
All coaching sessions and related discussions are strictly confidential.
